ABOUT US

Beacon of Hope Counseling LLC provides psycho-therapy from a cultural and bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective intended to allow effective change as one’s narrative story provides resources for growth, hope, peace, and meaning in their lives.

Our Approach

Everyone's journey is different, no two are the same. Therefore, in order for therapy to have a positive outcome for a client, he believes both the counselor and client should work together in a therapeutic relationship towards goals that have been mutually set.  Open and honest dialog between client and counselor that leads to the mutual therapeutic goals are essential to therapeutic process and growth. A continuous evaluation of progress throughout the therapeutic partnership is vital at the beginning of any session to assume adequate time for discernment.

Need help navigating life's road? Let’s take the journey of hope, peace, and meaning together. I look forward to walking along side you. My practice includes individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), couples, families couples and families by using various modalities such as CBT, REBT, mindfulness, and family systems. If you are looking for a supportive, non-judgmental counselor, give me a call.
